We are creeping ever-closer to the 2024 Presidential election and many are wondering if the market is coming to a halt in anticipation of the results, let’s take a look at what is happening.
SALES CONTINUE TO CLIMB
The graph above shows the rolling 12 month data which removes any seasonality from the sales data. Each bar is representative of all of the homes selling over the previous 12 months and ending at the listed month. These numbers continue to show more buyers on the market getting homes under contract across Greater OKC.
PENDING SALES BY AREA
In October, you can see the number of homes sold compared to 2023 are averaging about a 10% increase in general, but we are seeing outliers in Piedmont, Yukon, Newcastle and Norman.
